Result after the renovation work
The two massive ramps of this stair were crumbling after centuries of use, and my work was to give them back their former beauty.
I brought and carved 22 large boulders to create something as majestic and solid as the castle behind. I rebuilt from scratch the right ramp as it collapsed when I started to work on it.
The staircase is now dated and signed and I’m leaving here a trace that will last for centuries. I hope this will inspire future generations for sustainable and ecological buildings as well as heritage conservation.
